Seluna Care is operated by Zyna Labs LLC ("us," "we," or "our"). Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our mobile application and services.
By accessing or using Seluna Care, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About Seluna Care
Seluna Care is a personal growth and wellness platform that provides AI-powered coaching, self-guided programs, and journaling tools ("Services").
1.1 Important Disclaimer
SELUNA CARE IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT.
- Seluna Care provides general wellness guidance and is not a substitute for licensed therapy
- Content is educational and informational, not medical or psychological advice
- AI-generated insights are based on patterns and should not be considered diagnosis
- If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services (911) or a crisis helpline immediately

2. Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to use Seluna Care. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
2.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
3. Services Description
3.1 Seluna — Your AI Coach
Seluna uses artificial intelligence to provide:
- Conversational support and guidance
- Personalized reflections and prompts
- Responses based on your inputs and program content
Limitations:
- AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate
- The AI does not have memory between separate conversations unless explicitly saved
- AI cannot diagnose mental health conditions or prescribe treatment
3.1.1 AI Wellness Tool Disclosure
Seluna's AI coach is a general wellness tool. It is not a licensed professional and does not provide therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or clinical treatment. The AI generates educational and informational content based on evidence-based frameworks. It does not independently engage in therapeutic communication, detect emotions for clinical purposes, or create treatment plans. By using the AI coaching features, you acknowledge that responses are AI-generated and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
3.2 Self-Guided Programs
Programs are educational content designed to support personal growth. They are:
- Based on evidence-based frameworks (such as Attachment Theory, Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy)
- Intended for educational purposes only
- Not a substitute for licensed therapy or counseling
3.3 Partner Features
If you choose to connect with a partner:
- Both users must consent to the connection
- Certain information may be shared as described in our Privacy Policy
- Either partner may disconnect at any time
- Disconnection will remove shared access but may retain individual data
3.4 Personal Coaching Sessions (Guided Plan)
For users on our Guided plan (available at selunacare.com):
- Sessions are conducted by trained relationship coaches
- Coach availability varies by scheduling
- Sessions are conducted via secure video connection
- Standard session length is 50 minutes
- Coaches maintain confidentiality as described in our Privacy Policy
4. Subscription Terms
4.1 Plans and Pricing
We offer the following subscription plans:

Prices are in US dollars and may change with notice.
4.2 Free Trial
- New users receive a 14-day free trial
- Payment method is required to start trial
- You will be charged automatically when trial ends unless cancelled
- Trial may only be used once per person
4.3 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis
- Monthly subscriptions renew every 30 days
- Annual subscriptions renew every 365 days
- You authorize us to charge your payment method on file
4.4 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
- Access continues until the end of your paid period
4.5 Coaching Sessions (Guided Plan)
- Guided plan and coaching session add-ons are available exclusively through our website (selunacare.com)
- Session credits do not roll over month to month
- Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period
- Cancelled or missed sessions with less than 24 hours notice may be forfeited
4.6 In-App Purchases (Apple App Store / Google Play)
If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
- Refund requests for in-app purchases must be directed to Apple or Google, as applicable, in accordance with their refund policies
Note: The Guided plan and coaching session add-ons are not available as in-app purchases. These are offered exclusively through our website at selunacare.com.
5. User Conduct
5.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use Seluna Care only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the Services for any illegal purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Share your account with others (except as permitted in Together plan)
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated means to access the Services
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services
- Upload malicious code or content
5.2 Content Standards
Any content you submit (journal entries, messages, etc.) must not:
- Be defamatory, obscene, or offensive
- Infringe any intellectual property rights
- Contain viruses or malicious code
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
5.3 Third-Party Information
When using Seluna Care's AI coaching or journaling features, you may describe situations involving other people (partners, family members, etc.). Please be aware that:
- You are responsible for the information you share about others
- Do not share sensitive personal information about third parties (such as health conditions, financial details, or legal matters) without their awareness
- Information you share about others is subject to the same privacy protections as your own data
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
All content, features, and functionality of Seluna Care—including text, graphics, logos, programs, and software—are owned by Seluna Care and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create (journal entries, messages, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and process your content to provide Services
- Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our Services
- Share relevant content with connected partners (with your consent)
6.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without compensation or attribution.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Seluna Care, you consent to our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
8.1 No Medical Advice
THE SERVICES ARE NOT INTENDED TO PROVIDE MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, OR PSYCHIATRIC ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. Always seek the advice of qualified health providers with questions regarding mental health conditions.
8.2 AI Limitations
AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI responses.
8.3 No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee any specific results from using our Services. Individual experiences vary based on many factors.
8.4 Service Availability
We strive for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Services may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or circumstances beyond our control.
8.5 Coaching Sessions
Coaches are independent contractors. While we vet all coaches, each coach is independently responsible for their professional practice and advice.
8.6 AI Regulatory Compliance
Seluna Care is designed as a general wellness tool and complies with applicable laws governing AI in wellness applications. Our AI features:
- Do not independently provide therapeutic communication or clinical services
- Do not diagnose, treat, or claim to cure any mental health condition
- Are clearly disclosed as AI-generated, not from human professionals
- Include automated crisis detection as a safety measure, not a clinical assessment
- Are subject to ongoing review as state and federal AI regulations evolve
If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific AI wellness regulations, the applicable restrictions in those laws apply to your use of our Services.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9.2 Limitation of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SELUNA CARE AND ZYNA LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Personal injury or emotional distress
- Any damages exceeding the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
9.3 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In such cases, limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seluna Care, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@selunacare.com to attempt informal resolution. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days.
11.2 Arbitration Agreement
For users located in the United States: Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
11.3 Class Action Waiver
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS PART OF A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
11.4 Exceptions
Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized access to Services.
11.5 Jurisdiction-Specific Provisions
For users located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or Switzerland: The arbitration and class action waiver provisions in Sections 11.2 and 11.3 do not apply to you. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in your country of residence, and you retain all rights granted under applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring proceedings before the courts of your habitual residence.
For users located in other jurisdictions: If any provision of this dispute resolution section is found unenforceable under local law, only that specific provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
11.6 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. For EU/UK users, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections under the laws of your country of residence.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via:
- Email to your registered address
- In-app notification
- Posting the updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support.
13.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Fail to pay applicable fees
- Upon reasonable business judgment that termination is necessary
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use Services immediately ceases
- We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Sections that by their nature should survive will survive termination
14. General Provisions
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Seluna Care.
14.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
14.3 Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

15. Special Provisions for Coaching Services
15.1 Coach-Client Relationship
When you engage with a personal coach through Seluna Care:
- A professional coach-client relationship is established with the individual coach
- Seluna Care facilitates but is not a party to this coaching relationship
- The coach is responsible for providing services within their scope of practice and expertise
Coaches provide general relationship guidance, communication skill-building, and accountability support. Coaches do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide licensed therapy or counseling services.
15.2 Confidentiality
Coaching sessions are confidential. Your coach will not share session content with Seluna Care except:
- Aggregated, anonymized feedback to improve services
- If required by law or to prevent imminent harm
- With your explicit consent
15.3 Informed Consent
Before your first coaching session, you will be asked to review and accept informed consent documentation that covers:
- The nature and limitations of coaching (coaching is not therapy)
- Confidentiality and its exceptions
- Emergency procedures
- Coach credentials and qualifications
